Hello everyone! We have returned from the promised land that is Anime Expo in Los Angeles!
It was a good time. We passed out cards promoting our panel, and probably got around 90 people to show up. Not bad for nobodies like us, I think!
We recorded our panel, which you can view down below. In it we talked about Cradle Song’s story, and even introduced two characters not on cradle-song.com yet! We also answered a bunch questions at the end, which I think is the most interesting part. Be sure to watch it!
Also, BIG news which is also in the video, but I’ll spoil for you now. We released a short preview of Cradle Song! Although the panel gives you a weird URL with a username and password, you can now download it directly from the site! Go get it!
And while you are waiting for it to download, sit back, grab a carbonated beverage, and enjoy the Dischan panel!

Great work guys.
I have to say that was far better than anything I expected. Looking forward to the finished product; keep it up!
Nice.
On the side note, if there were an ost release I’d most definitely buy.
The ost sounds top notch.
@Tom
There will definitely be an ost in the future. You can count on that. CombatPlayer’s music is too awesome to keep to ourselves.
It’ll be in the highest quality we can manage as well.
I did as suggested. Although the panel took quite a bit longer than the download.
Getting the interface as it is must have taken quite a bit of effort, but it does give an amazing first impression. The rest doesn’t disappoint either. I like the unique style of the artwork in the game and the use of smooth layered motion gives an extra dimension to everything. Terrific job!
Since there’s only a small piece of the story, there’s not much to say about it yet. But I do like the way the traditional high school setting was crushed. I hadn’t actually read the story on the website, so it confused me a bit at first. It appears to be a great way to be introduced to a new world with plenty of opportunities for a good plot.
But what I probably find most impressive up till now is the trailer video. VNs don’t normally have much opportunity for scenes with fixed pacing and synchronised music. However, this was pretty much perfectly executed. I hope you’ll find a way to show off some more of that within the game.
I’ll be keeping an eye on this one!
When I played the demo,I was absolutely fascinated by it. Can you tell me when the full version will be released?
@hochiminh
Hi. Glad you liked it.
That question is answered on our faqs, along with some other questions you might find interesting.

I have another question.Will it be released as hard copy or I have to download it?
I prefer hard copy if possible
@hochiminh
Digital will be the main method of distribution. We will likely have physical copies to sell at cons and such, but I’m not sure we will make them available for ordering online. Shipping can be a bit tricky.
