Oh Geez, you drink one cup of coffee and look what happens.

We updated Dischan.org both in design and function. Before you go hogwild and explore, here’s a little summary of what’s changed so you don’t get lost:

• Messages – Private Messages, Thread Replies, and Miscellaneous Notifications are all in one area now, and there is a quick view section for your latest 5 messages in the top left. Thread Replies are no longer emailed to you, due to the fact that as forum activity increases, this will likely become spam-y. You can however set an option to have a notification email sent to you when you receive a private message.
• Forum – The width/height ratio for uploaded images has been changed. The format for quotes has been changed (example @Quote45). This is because someone told me my old format was stupid ;_;.
• Blog – You can now post blog comments with your Dischan account! No need to fill out any of that guest stuff, unless you don’t have a Dischan account, in which case, you still have to.
• Profile – Added some optional fields: Real Name, Location, Website, and Twitter.

Other than that, everything is just more pretty~.

Hello everyone.

Just some quick updates for you.

Unfortunately, school season is coming again, which means the amount of time we have to work on Cradle Song is going to take a severe cut. Sucks, but it can’t be helped. Need them degrees.

I’ve had some people ask me if they could donate to Cradle Song, and the answer is no. We don’t really like taking money without giving something for it.

The best way to support us is to get active on our forums, and subscribe to the newsletter. You can also enable a footer ad on the forum from your account settings that helps us a little.

Speaking of those ads, I’d really rather display ads from the community instead of the google ads it’s using right now, so if you have anything you’d like to advertise for cheap let me know.

We no longer have ads in the forum, other than the Dischan PSAs, which are just for fun.

Finally, and most interestingly, Combat recently released a new song (not for the visual novel), and Doomfest made a video for it. It is my personal opinion that you should watch it.

Hello everyone! We have returned from the promised land that is Anime Expo in Los Angeles!

It was a good time. We passed out cards promoting our panel, and probably got around 90 people to show up. Not bad for nobodies like us, I think!

We recorded our panel, which you can view down below. In it we talked about Cradle Song’s story, and even introduced two characters not on cradle-song.com yet! We also answered a bunch questions at the end, which I think is the most interesting part. Be sure to watch it!

Also, BIG news which is also in the video, but I’ll spoil for you now. We released a short preview of Cradle Song! Although the panel gives you a weird URL with a username and password, you can now download it directly from the site! Go get it!
